They have a sprawling large property in a secluded part of Mudgeeraba on the Gold Coast. Plenty of space had been going unused and underutilised.
Thanks to Queensland's new laws allowing secondary dwellings to be legally rented out, they were now able to make their property work for them.
So we designed this 80m2 granny flat in a perfect patch in their yard nestled between trees.
The home boasts a massive main bedroom with large sliding in-built wardrobes.
The kitchen has a huge amount of bench space, including an island bench with sink. The living room connects to a 17m2 secluded deck, with private views of the backyard and trees.
The front entrance has its own 14m2 undercover decked area, leading to the connecting hallway with storage/laundry cupboard.
Harley's Lodge enjoys an already established second driveway for the occupants to come and go as they please.
Di & Ed are sure to enjoy a massive return on investment once they start renting this home out - expected to be upwards of 10%!
