Beach House
Our client Peter wanted a way to add massive value to his property and create a new revenue stream. But due to an odd available build area he needed a custom design.
That’s where we came in, designing a home to fit the available space, complementing the existing home and neighbourhood, and full of character & personality.
This two-bedroom “granny flat” is more like a surfer’s dream home. It boasts 60m2 of maximised internal space, 30m2 of deck that connects to a stunning circle plunge pool, and beautiful views of the Tweed Heads coastline.
Beach House includes an open-plan living room & kitchen, and two spacious bedrooms. Both bedrooms include built-in wardrobes, windows, ceiling fans and high ceilings.
Raked ceilings and plenty of windows throughout make the home feel larger and brighter. It has a coastal style bathroom equipped with walk-in shower and wall-mounted vanity.
This custom granny flat also has a dedicated laundry space off the wrap-around deck, which includes even more storage.
Peter wanted the deck to seamlessly connect to the pool, and we designed to suit his exact vision. It’s the perfect way to cool off on a hot summer day or freshen up after a dip in the surf.
When looking to maximise the space you have the work with, and facing awkward site restrictions, custom is king.
Peter is now renting out this Tweed Heads granny flat for a massive return on investment and setting himself up for retirement in the future.
